Receptionist

Job Description

Performs various receptionist duties supporting the administrative functions of department.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Performs diversified clerical duties which may include, but are not limited to:
    • Typing various correspondence, reports, articles, etc.
    • Scheduling appointments, meetings, etc.
    • Maintaining files
    • Taking minutes at meetings
    • Receptionist duties
    • Record keeping
    • Patient filing
    • Collecting payments
    • Preparation of statistical data
    • Keeping inventory of supplies
    • Ordering supplies
  • Performs related duties, as required.




Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Prior clerical experience, preferred.
  • Typing 30 wpm and/or data entry skills (80 kpm), required.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
