The Union, located on the historic Eisenhower Park golf course, is seeking passionate, professional, fun-loving bartenders to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol - Collect payment from customers and process transactions using a cash register - Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere - Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns Requirements:
- Must be 18
and be able to serve alcohol - Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role (1-2 years preferred) - Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations - Ability to operate a cash register and handle money accurately - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes is a plus - Experience in catering, banquet, or restaurant settings is desirable - A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to customers Job Types:
