Senior Manager I, Software Engineering

Position Summary What you'll do We are looking for a highly motivated, Senior Manager 1, Software Engineering, UI to join our Health & Wellness Digital team.
You'll work closely with your team, designers, product managers, and other engineering leaders to build and ship products and features for millions of our pharmacy customers.
This is a hands-on role, extensive Web development experience is required.
Professional IOS development experience will be a big plus.

Our team creates reusable technologies to help with customer acquisition, onboarding, and empowering merchants, while ensuring a seamless experience for both of these stakeholders.
We also optimize tariffs and assortment in accordance with Walmart's Everyday Low Cost philosophy.
We not only create affordability, but we also deliver customized experiences for customers across all channels - in-store, mobile app, and websites.
What you'll do:
Be responsible for building world-class, high-quality and secure software experiences for our pharmacy customers Partner closely with business, product, design and other engineering teams in the entire software development life cycle.
Set team strategy and be accountable for team plans and deliverables.
Hire and lead a team of high-performing software engineers; establish a team culture of Trust, Transparency and Fairness; cultivate an open, collaborative, and fun work environment Be able to advocate an Operational Excellence driven engineering culture and apply rigorousness when needed What you'll bring:

years of experience managing high-performing engineering teams in fast-paced environment 7
years of experience developing and building responsive, user friendly web applications Expert level knowledge of frontend technologies in ReactJS, NextJS Solid experience using best practices when working with REST APIs and GraphQL Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
